I grew up in Slovenia, Europe in the suburbs of Ljubljana; the capital of Slovenia. Even in my early childhood years, I always showed great ambitiousness towards every activity I started and participated in.
From playing sports for a local volleyball club (we’ve become a runner-up team in the male national championships U17) to excelling in my schoolwork and learning extensively about the many subjects I was most interested in. I have always been an extremely active and engaged person.
I spent the first quarter of my life conforming to normal societal expectations. I attended and finished primary school, college, and earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree within the marketing field.
During my university years, I was also very active in two student business organizations, where I was a member of the executive boards. There, I worked on many great projects and received my first real exposure to the business world.
At that time, I became extremely passionate about entrepreneurship and this led me to the next natural step forward. In 2011, I co-founded POINT OUT – a digital marketing agency, along with my long-time friend Zoran Bosancic.
The deep desire to have our own company and being independent guided us towards achieving our ultimate goal. Today, POINT OUT works with some of the biggest brands and companies in the world, including Cisco, Peugeot, BMW, GlaxoSmithKline, and BIC.
Meanwhile, I also became very active in local community projects and organizations like Slovene Marketing Association, Secondary School Vic, Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, and built my career as an inspiring speaker.
I worked my ass off, being involved in many different projects, but then life unexpectedly smacked me down.
I burned out. Not physically, but mentally.
I was involved in too many different projects and found myself working day in, and day out, without the proper time for myself or the people I cared about the most. I’ve started asking myself why the hell I was doing all those things without proper meaning or focus within my life. Work and my ambitiousness toward greatness were completely ruling every aspect of my life. I was trapped and at that point, I knew I needed to change something.
I was really disappointed by how my life had unfolded and was, feeling unhappy and depressed for a few months.
During that period, I started asking myself questions about my true passions. I particularly wanted to understand what drives me the most and what I am in this world for. After all, if you have not yet created the purpose for your life—your daily routine can easily feel meaningless and trivial.
I asked myself some deep introspective questions and I experienced the bumpiest time of my life during that period. I searched deeply into my emotions and into the inner me. It took me months, but little by little, things started to crystallize for me. By the end of the process, I finally knew where my true potential was, what I want to do, and what kind of impact I would like to bring to our society.
The result of that process is the altCLASS organization I founded and the content you’ll find on this website.
The content I’ve started posting here is what I’m passionate about and is based entirely on my life experiences. I hope you’ll find real value in what I have to share with you. I genuinely want to give you as much added value as possible in order to help you with the process of identifying your true potential.
Also, don’t forget to check out the altCLASS, an educational alternative for the 21st century. I’m really committed to this one, where our mission is to tailor education to every single individual out there, in order to unlock his or her greatest potential.
